Track 20 (página 88):
Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian artist who spent most of his life in Germany and France in the first half of the 20th century. He was one of the first creators of pure abstraction in modern painting.
His paintings evolved from fluid figures to geometric compositions and, finally, to pictographic representations.
He became known as a pioneer able to comunicate strong emotions through his abstract art. He believed that he could reveal the essence of things by dematerialising their external appearance.
